🏠 Extra Hostel Assistance:
If you stay in a private or government hostel outside your home taluka, you get ₹1,200 per month (₹12,000 per year) directly in your bank account.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for MYSY in 2026, you must meet these strict conditions:
- Percentage Rule:
- For Diploma: 80 Percentile or more in Std 10.
- For Degree (Medical/Engg/Arts): 80 Percentile or more in Std 12 (Science/General).
- For D2D (Diploma to Degree): 65% or more in Diploma Final Year.
- Income Rule: Your annual family income must be less than ₹6,00,000.
- Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
- First Year: You must apply in the 1st Year of your admission. Late applications are not accepted.

MYSY Renewal Process
Once you get the scholarship, you must Renew it every year to keep receiving money. The conditions for renewal are:
- You must score at least 50% marks in your last exam.
- You must have 75% attendance in college.

Q1: Can I apply for MYSY if I have Digital Gujarat Scholarship?
Ans: No. You can avail of only one government scholarship at a time. MYSY usually offers higher amounts, so compare before applying.
Q2: Is the income limit 4.5 Lakh or 6 Lakh?
Ans: The income limit was increased. It is currently ₹6,00,000 per annum.
Q3: What if I failed in one subject?
Ans: If you fail, you are generally not eligible for Renewal. However, check with your college nodal officer for specific university rules regarding ATKT.
